They were not your fucking friends, you'll be much happier without them. If they don't want to talk to you over that shit then they are shit people period and as Kugel said, they don't give a damn about you at all. They didn't used to be this way. Times have changed. A couple of the guys have had careers in Silicon Valley and they've adopted NPC tendencies.

Maybe I'm reading too much into their motivations or lack thereof.
