Have you lost friends over politics?

Post by Auli » Fri Dec 29, 2017 9:27 pm

I REALLY feel like I have. I see my friends hanging together without asking me. I know they sometimes forget me anyway, but it's kinda petty cutting someone off because of some mild disagreement.

So... are you alone now? :p

Closest to a friend i had didn't decide to stop associating with me over politics (it was about 12 years ago so then i didn't care about politics) but because he got a girlfriend and he was embarrassed to be seen with me.

I still haven't been able to make friends since, i don't want to be dropped after being used again

Yeah, probably. Especially when I cracked one day on Facebook and went on a pro-Trump rant on the day he won.

Who's the dick here? Me trying all I can to gather "tah gang" again, or the others who visited me ONCE in 1.5 year in the hospital?

I've turned into a total paranoid and it's a sort of glorious experience :p
