The left is now suddenly gonna want the death penalty...because with all that time in prison he can file appeals and go for parole (especially if guilty on a lesser charge). He can plead for solitary or just attack another black to get in there. He can go nuts and be released for treatment or do what it takes do be on meds all day.
The point is...once in prison for life, you learn to game the system. The fact that he isn't dead already speaks to what'll likely happen to him. He'll get raped and passed around for a while, then forgotten as stories move on.
Meanwhile he has time to read about how to countersue the state or get off on a technicality. The chances of that are practically zero...but not absolute zero.

The orchestrators could have properly sacrificed him in prison and avoided any chance of something spoiling their perfect plan. But they'd rather have their rioting and destruction.

Ex-cop could probably take care of himself. I mean, if George Zimmerman, a fat Mexican with no cop training, can thwart people constantly trying to kill him then Chauvin should be fine.
