I think that we're just beginning to see the country lose its mind over George Floyd.

Because he didn't die from asphyxiation. He died of a heart attack. He had, like, five different heart ailments. He was on meth and fetanyl. The arrest obviously contributed. Being held down contributed, too, sure. That didn't have to happen though if he wasn't acting insane, as we see in the video.

Unless the trial is totally rigged, Derek Chauvin will likely either be acquitted or, at best/worst (depending on where you stand), go down on a much lesser charge than #BLM wants.

There will be riots regardless of the outcome. So all they want to do is have a trial last long enough where they are no longer in office to deal with the consequences.

I think that's why they pushed for higher charges, moving it from 3rd degree to 2nd degree. Either way they win. Guilty and they can celebrate a victory, Not Guilty and they get another round of riots and violence - which they want as well.

Any defence lawyer worth his salt is going to push for a change of venue or a continuance. It's clear with the media coverage that absolutely none of the officers charged can get a fair trial. The black officer was himself harassed at Wal-Mart trying to buy some fucking Oreos.

Yeah, it'll be impossible to get untainted jurors. So many jurors will probably just lie and say they know nothing about the case so they can get on the jury and vote to convict. I think the whole thing will get plea bargained way down. Everyone will win that way. Shitlibs get to chimp out because justice wasn't done, DA looks good because they get another conviction and the officers get no/very little jail time. The only people who lose are the small business owners whose property is about to get bodied by armies of looters.

The DA will never be able to prove any kind of premeditation.
