A late term abortion requires the same steps as giving birth. The fetus is euthanized and pregnancy is induced but the woman still has to birth it.
BTW even having a miscarriage sucks. I miscarried at 2 months and I was so depressed about it I had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized.
