This is crazy part II. The guy speaking above, Dominique Alexander, the family's chosen representative, is a pretty disturbing character. Child abuse, check forgery, leading police on a chase. He's a complete piece of shit who's now on the race-baiting activist grift. How do you choose this fucker to represent you?

Alexander was first arrested in July 2009 for causing serious bodily injury to a child. Police reported he’d been babysitting his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son for the evening when he called her at 11 p.m. and told her “to come home now.” But he didn’t tell her why. When she arrived, she found her child unresponsive. Alexander told his girlfriend that he’d been watching a movie with her son on the couch. He paused the movie, police reported, and as he walked into the computer room, he heard the sound of her son, who was asleep on the couch, fall off the couch and onto the carpet.

But the doctor disagreed with his statement. He examined Alexander’s girlfriend’s son in the intensive care unit and reported that the child had a subdural hemorrhage between the halves of his brain and at the back of the brain. He also had retinal hemorrhages in both eyes.

“The severity of his injuries is not consistent with rolling off the couch,” the investigating officer reported the doctor saying. “The injuries are acute and likely occurred around the time that [his girlfriend’s son] started to have symptoms (like being unresponsive.) Without more adequate history of trauma, complainant’s injuries are more consistent with abusive head trauma and child physical abuse.”

Alexander claimed that he had taken the child to play in a bounce house that evening at Royal Crest Apartments. But he told the Judge Gracie Lewis on Friday that he’d taken the child to play in a bounce house the day before. Yet he never reported the bounce house to the doctor or the investigators at the time.

On Friday afternoon, the prosecutor read two statements that Alexander had signed not long after the incident occurred. In the first statement, he claimed that the child had fallen off the couch. In the second statement, he admitted to shaking the child. He was charged with a first degree felony.

Not long after he was arrested for injury to a child causing severe bodily harm, he got into trouble for forging a check, leading police on a high-speed chase, stealing a car and falsely claiming that a car was stolen.

Alexander brought a couple of character witnesses, but one had only recently met him and the other didn’t know Alexander was on probation.

As she read his sentencing, Judge Lewis told Alexander, “I’ve given you multiple chances.” Alexander will receive credit for his time he has already served in jail. His attorneys believe that he could parole out within six months.

I don't like that Karmelo Anthony's family has to suffer so much. They're not kicking back and counting money. They've been doxed and receive constant threats and are living in fear right now. That was very clear when the mother spoke at the press conference.

They're a two-parent household and they live in Frisco, TX, which is a well-to-do, upper middle class area. It's about 30 miles from me. It's not "the hood". Also, I can understand why the family would defend their kid, even though he did something awful.

None of that changes that Karmelo Anthony clearly deserves prison time. My prediction is manslaughter. I think the defense will convincingly argue that the killing was unintentional, but will have a much harder time arguing that Anthony's life was in danger.

Good, let them spend the rest of their lives in fear in exchange for their blood money. And anything beneath execution or life is too good for him.

If you're insecure about your case, you can try whipping up racial tension to potentially scare the jury into submission over the prospect of causing riots

They aren’t scared they’re living large and they know it. Hell they’re selling merchandise.. if anything Austin Metcalf dad should be scared Considering they could’ve stabbed him right then and gotten away with it

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe anybody who’s saying that Karmelo’s Living scared. His neighbors are the ones that are scared. They’re coming out saying that they’re fearing for their fucking lives that they have him living next to them meanwhile, he’s getting rich off of killing white people and loving it he’s already showing no remorse for what he’s done or guilt of any kind and everyone’s treating him like he’s a worldwide hero and the king of the Blacks.. I don’t see any fear in his eyes. More like he’s just wondering how long it’s gonna take until he can go back to kill more white people.

I'm not getting sucked into an argument about how little or much fear someone is going through, but I think it's extremely unrealistic to say that a family who are the center of a high-profile criminal case that angers people and who have been doxed are not getting death threats.

I've thought about it. You're right. There are no crazy people on the internet who would ever get a hold of someone's home address and so something fucked up with it. That's impossible.
