In EU4 terms, they were "kingdoms" that didn't even reach the Tier 3 political reforms yet, being barely above Tribal starts.

Authentic African kang treasures I can think of would be some bronze and brass shit. And that shit isn't even entirely African since at least part of the raw materials got imported from Europe (natural alloys can have quite the quality differences depending on where exactly it's from).

So he created white people as an act of revenge, because the king had his parents executed and he got bullied in school for having an oversized head? That's an awfully sympathetic origin story for mankind's greatest supervillain.

Obviously the plan is for Yakub to be later hoisted by his own petard (aka killed by white people after they went out of control), but this leads directly to a gaping plot hole: The king spares him and just locks him up in a tower for his crimes because "Black man shall never kill black man" - but where was this "holy law" when Yakub's parents were executed for way less? Why does this society have professional executioners in the first place?

EDIT: Never mind. At least the important black people live for hundreds of years, and this new holy law only became a thing 100 years after Yakub left to create white people. Guess I'm too white to follow the fine nuances of this harrowing tale
Though the story is still pretty schizo in that white people are both "slaves to their violent nature" and "inherently evil". So are they tragic creatures or not?

Also, does anyone else think that "Yakub" and "Yasuke" sound just a bit too similar to be a coincidence?
