OK, so the thing is that shit porn is illegal here. It's one of the few things that still falls into the obscenity category. Bestiality, Child Porn, and I've also heard using vegetables and other food is also banned.
So nobody makes shit porn here domestically. When people do run across it, it's always foreign-made, and usually seems to be from from Germany. That's why people associate it with Germany.

I can't even count how many times I've seen "German" porn and it't been eastern Europe. Basically any language some autistic burger can't decipher they will call German.
