Norway will dodge this, though, Not being in the EU is great, but just benefiting from trade ftw.
If you want to benefit from trade with the EU you'll have to play by their rules. It's hilarious that you still think your government is any less cucked than the rest of Europe excluding the east. You're just too used to look at Sweden and then make comparisons. The only reason you guys aren't in the EU is because you're rich thanks to oil. You better hope that the EU is gone when you can't have the oil work for you anymore.

Honestly, if tor had stock it would be sky high right now. The EU is fucking up (more so than usual) and the British government want to implement an infeasible age gate system tied to your credit card so that, allegedly, minors can't look at porn.
I'd love to see them try to enforce this on porn worldwide.

We're cucked, but not like the rest of the EU countries, We've had a record low migrants this year! Yeah we play by some of their rules, but we're not on their team.

The oil will last longer than I will live so idc really. Maybe if I get kids I will care more. I predict massive worldwide damage within 35 years and everyone will be fucked.

This is MY dream for the future of mankind :D

True, you're less cucked. But you bet there are lots of people in positions of power that look at the shafting Sweden and Germany are getting longingly, wishing Norse was as cucked as us and are hard at work to get there.

It doesn't matter how long the oil would theoretically last. Well before it's depleted a massive stock will be held back for military purposes and become unaffordable for regular Joe. Hydrogen fuel cells will likely be where it's at for cars and once that's gaining traction oil won't keep you up. Venezuela has loads of oil and is still in the shitter. You're only doing better because you're not a third world beaner nation. Again, something that forces in power are looking to change.

What I'm saying is to not let your guard down. Never get comfortable just because you're not Sweden.

Venezuela is the perfect proof that no amount of oil will help you if you're run by idiots.

And man, hydrogen fuel cell cars. Remember when Kraut media used to push that shit for years a decade or so ago? They were shilling that stuff hard, but then it just vanished because either the technology wasn't up for the task yet, or whoever was spending all those lobby bux got a visit from our friendly automobile cartel (who only started to take alternate fuel methods seriously after China forced them to).

It was dropped because the energy needed to produce hydrogen uses up about as much fuel or more than just straight up using gasoline motors in the first place. But if you're reasonable and use solar or nuclear power that's a non-issue.
The idiots thought that batteries would just make a massive development advance in the next couple of years. There's zero reason to believe they will and it's even unlikely that they do, especially not ones using material that's common and easily mass-produceable.
Tesla already can't deliver cars thanks to batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are just as dangerous, mega expensive, impossible to produce at the required ammount to replace Otto and Diesel engines and the things break much too early.
Electric cars are fine in small quantities for little city cars but whoever thinks they will replace trucks is dreaming.

Lithium Jews are holding down all the other battery types. Feelz bad.
Putting your hope in future technological developments is a bad move, consumer tek is ded and whatever life it has it facilitated through CIAnigger war and spy technology.

Lithium is shit as it is. There just plain isn't anything else. Lithium already holds a lot of energy but the batteries themselves just die too soon and love to light up. Hydrogen fuel can be put into powder cells. That's still about 700 bar of pressure but better than the more than 1k bar of pressure you got before powder tanks. Yeah, the fucker could possibly blow up in a crash but it's not going to be much worse than regular gasoline tanks getting fucked.
Either way, security is a meme. All possibilities are dangerous in a hard crash that you'll likely die in regardless. Batteries are just fucking garbage in every single regard on top of what gas and hydrogen do equally as bad.

Lithium is also hypocrisy in resource form. Getting an e-car to protect the environment rings hollow if the main exporters of lithium fuck up their eco-system something fierce to get that shit out of the ground.

And there's not enough of the stuff in the first place. Just look at how few Teslas drive around. They already can't deliver anymore. How would you have every car be electric?
