Reminder that's why she got hired. They needed cheap ratings so they shoehorned her in a role to show off her T&A.

They never gave her anything to do, other than fuck Riker/random people and sense the obvious.
The only way they could give her any depth was to have her act like a bitch.

There's a reason TOS is held in such high regard, especially around here. TNG has aged very badly in a majority of the episodes. There are some standouts, like data's trial and the Drumhead, as well as Picard's torture scene, but most of the episodes feel too "pat." There are few personality conflicts, a general lack of efficiency, Troi gets indulged too much, the federation is Always Right, Picard is Always Right, Worf is a comedic figure, Data is a meme and Wesley is JUST. Problems are tied up neatly with a bow.

The show couldn't do action either.

I thought it was meh. The fight was ofc hilarious, but the concept of Kirk and Alien Captain using their environment to outwit one another could've been done so much better

My favourite episodes thus far are Where No Man Has Gone Before, Space Seed, Balance of Terror and the Squire of Gothos.

If any episode is overrated, it's City On The Edge Of Forever. I've already seen it once, but I barely remember anything aside from DeForest Kelley's overacting and Kirk moping over the 20th century chick.

Ellison hated this episode as the script editor changed a lot of things from his original script to make it more in line with the rest of the series. I don't remember all the details, but one thing I remember was that there was originally an Enterprise crew member that was a drug dealer. A few years ago there was a comic book published based on Ellison's version of the script.

All the Star Trek shows had terrible fight choreography. The original series at least predated the popularity of Kung Fu movies in the US, but the rest of the spin-offs have no excuse.
