I've always liked Keanu Reeves. I found Street Kings to be pretty good as well. Knockoff Training Day, sure, but not bad.
He's not a great actor but neither was any of the great action movie actors. Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Statham, basically anyone that has been in The Expendables, really. Who gives a shit? I'm not expecting Shakespeare here.
Reeves gives a shit and talks very little in the Wick movies. His performance is good and authentic. Dude can handle guns and Judo. That's all I'm asking for.

John Wick is total garbage. It falls apart the second you think about it.
The son of a mob boss doesnt know who his number one hitman is? get the fuck outta here.

Also the action is so lame. He instakills anyone in a 20 mile radius with 0 effort. I just cant get invested in any action scene when I know the guy we are supposed to get invested in is never in danger. Its like watching someone play a game with god mode on, it makes it boring as fuck.

Wick was like a superhero (even more invincible though) in those movies so thats a weird comeback

Never saw John Wick. I did see part of the sequel though. It was typical nauseating action schlock with the protagonist being chased by hundreds of faceless goons with automatic weapons, none of which manage to graze Keanu Reeves. Meanwhile every single haphazard shot from Keanu's handgun manages to kill a bad guy, sometimes without even looking.

Funny thing is that during the club scene of the first one the goons instead of shooting Wick from a distance they opt to run up to him only to get killed.

Anyway speaking of John Wick anyone every seen Collateral? Staring Tom Cruise and Jamir Foxx and directed by Michael Mann, love that movie, favorite parts are the interactions between the two in the cab and the club scene.
