The first Dark Phoenix blunder was somewhat infamous for ending the original X-Men trilogy with a big "meh". This newest one seems to be shite as well, and it came out long after pop culture has stopped caring about this franchise.
For years the only thing anyone remembered about that shit-fest was how they killed Cyclops off-screen in the first act. Rian Johnson saw it, however, and was like "Yes.... Yes! Expectations subverted!"

RIP Admiral Ackbar.

Reviews say its boring. The sad part is that the director wrote both this movie and Last Stand.
One of these days studios might learn their lesson and stop letting shit writers with no experience direct big-budget blockbusters.
That's 99% of Hollywood now though.

In the old days they did it with executive committees. They would stifle creativity but caretaker what they had.

Talented auteurs came in and changed the model. Now they have no talent, yet assumed to have right to muck around however they want.

No franchise is bulletproof. That's like saying a sports car is teen proof.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.

Mark Hamill had fun killing his Chinese prostitute grandson. I don't care how much fun some Hollywood faggot is having. Seeing them happy dosen't translate to making me happy.

They sold their soul to the Jew devil. They deserve every bit of misery they get as a consequence.

He was not successful in that endeavour, though

Toy Story 4 steals a lot from the 2nd movie, just like 3 did. Hopefully they will stop, I think it's time, but it is Disney.
