It was really funny noticing that Wiseau advertises his clothes with Sestero as the model

Re: Movie Thread
For the first time in my life i saw a vidya gayme adaptation which is not a bag of dicks:
The changes they made in the final part are kinda dumb though.

Re: Movie Thread
So you never saw Mortal Kombat?
Cage isn't in the new movie, btw. Some MMA fighter named Cole is the lead character.

This is fine.
This is fine.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

That’s a big pair of shoes to fill. I know I’ll catch shit from some people but I enjoy that movie. Sure it’s not perfect and it was directed by a hack fraud who’s gone on to rape two other game franchises to death, but it was fun and had some good practical effects and fighting. Yeah Reptile was a weird CGI mess but the Goro animatronic alone was amazing to look at and believable.da PAC Nigguh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 8:34 pmFor the best. No one was going to fill Linden Ashby's shoes.

Deadly Outlaw: Rekka (2002)
Not among the best films of Miike, but certainly not among the worst. Quite the usual Yakuza film of its era with added occasional craziness and ultra-violence. Unfortunately, this was a bit boring in the middle, even its mere 90 min runtime felt too overdrawn at times. The soundtrack however was great, Miike used Flower Travellin' Band's album Satori, a progressive/psychedelic rock album from the 70's and it fit really well to Miike's craziness. The ending was also good and memorable, done in the style of Dead or Alive, but not as high on the level of insanity. 7/10

I love when something is so funny that you just bust out laughing for a solid ten or so seconds. Poonoo Kano is now canon.
