I’m watching Robin Hood and it’s painfully unfunny, 90% of jokes boil down to “lol that’s not what 12th century England is”.

I never saw it, but I remember the critics not liking it at the time. Basically, Brooks was already past his expiration date by then. It was also a parody of that shite, overrated Kevin Costner movie that people have mostly forgotten about these days.

Robin Hood might've been were things started to get a bit too silly, but I still get keks from the Sheriff and the witch.

Men in tights was his last ok / good thing. It was a nice finale, had he ended it there. Still get some laughs from it but his older work is far superior and more watchable on repeat views compared to MiT.

Which Cleopatra do they want to make the movie about? The most famous one with Marcus Antonius aka the 7th? Or one of her ancestors also named Cleopatra? And wanting her black? Now that's a laugh consider she was one of the whitest women in Egypt considering how the pharaohs were chosen and how her lineage was directly from Macedonian soldiers under the ptomlemy line.
