Judgement Day really happens in 2020! Haha, fucking James Cameron.
In other news, Gale Ann Hurd is trying to get the Terminator rights back to stop any Dark Fate sequels. She produced some tight action films in the 90s, so it could be a good thing.

She also married Cameron, so her judgment is questionable

Annabelle Cums Home was doing okay, a nice slow burn type movie, then a cg demon dog appeared and began chasing teenagers around.

I haven't seen any of the Conjuring movies, but the impression I get is that they're hit-or-miss.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 9:03 amAnnabelle Cums Home was doing okay, a nice slow burn type movie, then a cg demon dog appeared and began chasing teenagers around.

I liked the first Conjuring well enough when I saw it in the theaters forever ago, but its not particularly astonishing.

The Spy Who Loved Me is such a damn gorgeous film, had a blast rewatching it.
I can't believe they didn't get that guy to do the score again, those techno tunes are a million times more memorable and fun than any other soundtrack in the franchise(though I respect John Barry too of course).
Shame Stromberg is such a rubbish villain, but we get glorious Jaws.

Re: Movie Thread
Watched El Camino(the Breaking Bad film).
Honestly, it felt like if one of the Return Of The King endings was released years later. Nothing new of thematic or storyline relevance was added. I think Gilligan was just being nostalgic and wanted to revisit the characters.
Walt has a cameo, but it's pre-goatee and he doesn't do anything badass.

Long episode of the show was pretty good but unnecessary.

It's almost as if they just wanted to get a last, good squeeze out of the show.
