Adding a bit of Hellsing's Alucard would've been rad. The first Blase already had a vampire who became some kind of blood elemental. Now you just have to add some more eyeballs.Keith Chegwin wrote: ↑Sun Apr 15, 2018 9:43 pmTheir Dracula really needed a Christopher Lee or somebody of that calibre. Or, if they wanted to go younger, they should have got a hip, young metrosexual like Stephen Dorff in the first film. Instead we got what we got

Had to see Rampage since ive used that nickname in gaming since the start of the internet so when an old clanmate said theyre making a movie about you I had to at least see what it is about.
Never heard of the source material but its a dumb fun kind of movie, id compare it to Kong skull island with even less of a story. If you want to see a movie with big monsters fighting its a bit entertaining but gets pretty boring fast too because we've seen it all before. Also Im pretty bored with huge monkey /reptile destroying cities or fighting monsters. Cant remember a giant wolf but I think ive seen at least 10 movies in the past decade with a huge monkey or lizard fighting / destroying a city.
The acting is sub par and almost cartoony in some cases and of course there is some forced humor. I did laugh a few times but fuck hollywood make up your mind, either a movie is for kids and then you can have a dumb script /dialogue and subpar acting but with a movie this violent its not supposed to be for kids (in my eyes, almost seems hollywood keeps pushing hard violence younger and younger) so then when you know you'll get an adult audience at least make the dialog and script up to par so not every adult will facepalm at your movie....

I don't get the appeal of King Kong(the 1933 version at least). Yeah, the special effects were revolutionary and all, but it really hasn't aged well in any way.
