3D Berserk is the gold standard. Also rendering frames costs time and money.

We have to remember. Every single frame of quality animation needs to be etched into our retinas.

So my younger cousin got me to watch the Steven Trooniverse movie on Thanksgiving. My feelings on that show aside, it wasn’t too bad. Maybe it’s because the focus wasn’t on lesbian rocks and non consensual fusions, but instead betrayal in the form of abandonment. Basically the villain is a playmate gem that Steven’s dumb bitch mother abandoned for thousands of years on a remote mini planet, and she comes back for revenge. The villain was the best part, she literally scythes the main gems in half and has this neat Fleischer animation style way of moving, with a psychotic personality and a not half bad villain song.

I didn’t mind the show so much in the first season, but the agenda stuff got too much as it ran. I remember hearing the finale was lame and anti climatic, and this at least felt like some effort was put into it. By no means a recommend, but I did think the villain was kinda badass.

I’ve known her since she was little, her dad died when she was young and we bonded over video games and cartoons, so I can’t say no so easily. It wasn’t tedious or anything, I’ve seen far worse. It was better than the later seasons for sure.

And yeah VORP, that’s not a bad comparison, except this villain was legitimately wronged and had a reason to be a vindictive psychopath unlike Loopy
