Cartoon storytelling was a lot more innocent back then. It was either dumb fun, some toy commercial, or some bloke actually wanting to tell a story. Nowadays? Brainwashing.

It's the same with everything. A lot of these same people are wondering why they're seeing such a reaction against their politics when you can't even relax and enjoy a TV show or Sports without having their political opinions shoved down your throat.

There was one episode of My Little Pony that had the ponies do a cart chase, the carts being pulled by other ponies. Fuck, they even established in the same episode that one of the ponies sitting in the cart was like a sprinting champion or something.
