It'll hopefully be about them pretending to be trans to score. If they don't do it, the reboot would fail.

I hope it transitions into "cancelled" pretty soon.

Also hoping for a new female self-insert character to take over the show.

We missed a detail that it would be ,"Beavis and Butt-Head as Gen X parents raising their Gen Z children" which wouldn't make sense due to the 2011 revival. (I know it's a reboot, but just wanted to point that out. Plus it's from Wikipedia so it may or may not be true if that's going to be the plot. )

Are they cucks? Probably. Because remember, "We're never gonna score!"

Maybe I'm misreading the tweet but the way Phill wrote it is that he's sitting out of this madness. Hence the "keep my name out of your fucking mouth" as in to not use his name or opinion for a looney cause that is certain to backfire.
Context: Studios and white voice actors announced that various black characters that were previously voiced by white actors will be recast so that the actors match the skin color of the character. E.g., Mike Henry announced that he is stepping down from the role of Cleveland Brown on Family Guy, and Fox announced that all of the black characters currently voiced by white actors (i.e., all the recurring ones from the good seasons) on The Simpsons will be recast. (Also a white woman who voiced a black girl on some Netflix cartoon for perverts called Big Mouth stepped down from her role.)

In response to this news, many people put up image collages of all the black actors together with the non-black roles they have played. E.g., James Avery (Uncle Phil on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) played The Shredder (Oroku Saki, a Japanese man) on the old Ninja Turtles cartoon. (Avery died years before all this nonsense started.) Cree Summer played Elmyra Duff on Tiny Toon Adventures and various other white characters and male children. And Phil LaMarr has played white and Japanese people multiple times.

Phil wants people to stop posting the images of him and all the non-Black characters to point out the hypocrisy, and says it's bad for white people to play white characters and men to play female characters, but it's OK for the opposite to happen because women and blacks are minorities/underrepresented.

Note his use of the term "false equivalency" -- a term people use when they know their argument is nonsensical. You'll see this term used a lot when feminists complain about female comic book characters having "unrealistic" body types (not whales with big boobs) and wearing skin-tight outfits. In response, people will point out that the male superheroes also wear skin-tight outfits and all look like steroid-using bodybuilders, and that Namor is just wearing a Speedo and some shoes. The feminists, not wanting to admit this, will claim that this is a "false equivalency", and that the male superheroes are a "power fantasy".

Lamarr seeks to benefit greatly from this. It's a shame he'd throw his white "friends" in the industry under the bus so he can collect their jobs.

There are genuine false equivalences but that's not one of them. Isn't he marginalising black characters by choosing to play white ones? Aren't Japanese actors equally under-represented in Western media? Isn't he marginalising them by playing a Japanese character as opposed to letting the role go to a Japanese who, incidentally, would probably be more convincing.

I think me may realize this, which is why his statement seems to boil down to: "Stop discussing what I do. Just allow everything to happen and stop asking questions."
