I remember seeing commercials for it. It looked awful so I never watched it.

the most interesting are the GoT-like vampire politics and backstabbing tbh
Blade is decent, not good not bad but never wesley sniper, the "female" lead is quite bad though.

I think I catched like 1, maybe 2 episodes of it back in the day. I don't think the padding required to make the concept a TV show did it any favors.

My neighbor had some bootleg DVD of the DTV movie tie in of the series, don't remember it very well.
There's also a Blade anime among four other Marvel anime that nobody has ever seen.

Jill Wagner was effing hot. She apparently went into Witness Protection after Wipeout got cancelled though.AngrySpoonySnob wrote: ↑Wed Mar 07, 2018 7:14 pmthe most interesting are the GoT-like vampire politics and backstabbing tbh

You think the old series is bad? Just wait until Marvel reboots the character on Netflix as some hip modern street thug played by a second-rate Michael B. Jordan. I watched three episodes of Jessica Jones and can confirm it is fucking terrible. It's not even a real show. It's just a series of scenes with women dressing up as adults and pretending to do shit.

You sure he'll only get another TV show? After the smash hit that was Black Panther, they better incorporate every black hero they have into the MCU.

PG-13 Blade wouldn't work. They'd have to go the Deadpool route and I'm not sure DisneyMarvel can stomach it. Not enough bank, nigga! Though they've proven they can do without China now, so oh shit, expect so much SJW propaganda it'll make your head spin.

Re: Never knew there was a Blade TV series
I think if that TV show was released now, it would have been successful. As has been stated, people now watch any capeshit on TV no matter how bad the quality.
The Blade franchise has always been a bit ahead of its time. The first Marvel box office hit, and with a black lead at that. And nobody remembers or acknowledges it for some reason.
People give Bryan Singer and Black Panther way too much credit.
