Anyone read the works of Raymond Fiest?

Talon of the Silverhawk and King of Foxes are a great read

I tried Fiest years ago. It was written well enough, but I didn't get into it.

Anyone here read the Arthur C. Clarke Odyssey novels? They're a bit dry, but I'm quite fond of 2001 as it really makes the movie a lot clearer. 2010's decent, but I couldn't get into 2061(Dave and HAL are just cameos) and don't own a copy of 3001(something about Frank's frozen corpse being resuscitated).

I didn't know the 2001 book had sequels
-On the internet, everyone end up being Spoony or Tim Buckley
-All fanbases are shit
-Most people had, have and will have shit tastes

Has like three, theres also the 2010 movie of course. I've still never seen 2001 because I lost my Blu-ray copy before I got a chance (it was a cheapo collection with ACW and The Shining.) It would have been easier to just torrent it but at this point fuck that.

Have any of you read any of L. Ron Hubbard's books? One was sent in a carepackage and wondering if he was any good if a writer before starting the cult leader gig

I've never read his work, but my grandad owns one of his books and he basically told me that it was terrible.

L. Ron Hubbard is to Sci-Fi as DSP is to YouTube. He produced more of it than anyone else in history and all of it is shit.
Is Spoony dead yet?
