That'd be like making a series adapation of
Fahrenheit 451 that teaches the viewer about how book burning is a great way to get rid of the works of H.P. Lovecraft and those other *white* authors.
I mean, remember how I said that pretty much everyone in the book is a self-absorbed asshole? Your "friends" will straight-up leave you in the dust if your Social Credit drops too much. But don't worry, for Not-Facebook will recommend you a
new set of nakama.

How much will the sassy black lady weigh?
As much as they like to. I am all for size-blind casting.

I guess I'm the only guy who remmebers HBO already made Fahrenheit 451 starring Michael B Jordon.

The problem with a TV show adaptation of Slaughterhouse-Five, other than the fact that there's already a film adaptation that Vonnegut loved, is that the basic premise of "WW2 veteran's linear perception of time is shattered and he spends his post-war years randomly hopping around his unchangeable timeline" is something that cannot be stretched out to TV-show length unless you make up a lot of stuff that isn't in the source material.

It cannot be done, man. The narrative is written to be damn near dreamlike - Guilermo Del Toro was making threats for a while. And then Kaufman.

I suppose soap opera shit was not part of the source material?

Kaufman
might've been able to pull off a good film adaptation. However, I agree that a TV show adaptation, no matter who is at the helm, is doomed to suck.

Nope. The novel is about 200 pages long and has a pretty solid narrative.
