Has media criticism always been this lazy and whiny? I've been looking through reviews for Season 5 of Arrested Development. I'm still trying to decide whether or not I liked it, but all of the negative reviews, without fail, consist of Soyboys bitching about Jeffrey Tambor and barely even touching on the show itself. Jesus, fuck, why do we even have fucking media critics?

Give it fifty years and all the lives and good content that were dashed on the rocks by bad press will be given the 'oops sorry guys we didn't mean it!' treatment.

The season's really just "O.K.", probably on par with season 4, the other Netflix season. But I've never seen a larger group of people avoid talking about the content of a work to sperg about Jeffrey Tambor and claim that that's why it sucks.
