The top 5 things that enter my head when you say the name OJ Simpson to me:
I remember hearing from my friend that the black guy from the Naked Gun movies was arrested for killing his wife. That's all we knew him from as we weren't boomers.
Watching the car chase on TV. Called my black friend up and we were making commentary and jokes about it. I could hear his mom in the background saying, "He's gonna kill himself!"
And I remember watching the verdict with my girlfriend. She was sort of a PushingUpRoses type and also emotionally unstable. I predicted that O.J. would be found not guilty. Just my gut feeling because of what a circus the trial became. She said he would be guilty. When the verdict was read, she was furious and screaming at me, like I had been the one that decided it.
