His legacy is his lie, "Read my lips, no new taxes!" and spending millions of dollars and getting 146 Americans and tens of thousands of other people killed defending fat cat Kuwaiti oil tycoons.

He kinda sucked, but I feel like he was the last real President our country ever had. Not coincidentally, he was the last Greatest Generation president. Everyone after him were Boomer clowns.

Are you high? He was every bit as bad as his son.

Nah. The Gulf War was pointless, but he knew where and when to end it. He let Saddam stay in power and didn't try that "regime change" disaster that Bush Jr. did.

They were both following the same directives from the CIA. The same CIA that HW also ran. Not to mention he also pardoned several key players in Iran-Contra, the scandal where the American government sold terrorists the very weapons they'd be using to kill Americans ten/twenty years later.

If anything he was way worse than his son.

Oh, I forgot the other thing he was remembered for:

Here's the reenactment that my friends and I made in high school.

But he did give us one true gift to the world:

James Danforth Quayle.

[As for his presidency, I did like his thousand points of light idea. But I agree it was primarily overrated, or a harbinger of worse presidents to come.]
