I love how the same youtubers who shilled for lootcrate are now spitting on there grave for views.
I see they're using Loot Crate for lucrative low-effort videos until the very end.

Obviously, it was never going to last long, but I thought it would die when the pseudo-geek trends die, and those cancerous trends are still going strong.

Nah, there has never been a speculative market for them and nobody but soy-filled, self-proclaimed nerds even know about them. Beanie Babies were an actual phenomenon.

I wasn't ever gonna buy it in the first place but throwing in three Fucko Pops into that Buttman the Anime Series Blu-ray collection was really gross.

True. My mother is still buying one or two a year.

Loot had/has way too many shitty box ideas (Elder Scrolls? Adult Swim minus Rick and Morty?). But I still feel like selling a rando pack to the direct market was a bad idea. You could make so much more by doing a high bid demand war for the popular shit. That's what you saw with all these resellers hawking the one thing from the box and charging more.
[Though I guess that could just be a scalper thing in general].

David Koch also died BTW.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.

That was a dumb idea on their part for not including Rick and Morty. Or not considering 2017. I don't know.
