How can you be sure that I just didn't use a bit of reverse psychology there and gansta rap was exactly what I wanted to hear next!
Now for the enjoyment of all of you jazzy progressive rock lovers, like kugel, here's the pinnacle of music, get ready to be mind blown. Happy 22 min magical journey!

Wonderful! Long, soft, well thought out - just something you can relax to. Exactly what I love. You know me too well, Veris. Truly Brüder im Geiste.

It is fucking Friday and Kugelfish has been drinking! You know what time it is, faggots!
Time for HARDC....actually, it's time for classic music. Since I've mentioned Beethoven, I checked out again one of my favourite pieces of classic music. Now, I'm not a great fan of classic music in general. Recent studies suggest that classic fans are of a low IQ as well so I'm not too sad about that.
BUT, I love Beethoven's Mondscheinsonate. Of all iterations, I find Valentia Lisitsa to play them, by far, the best. She doesn't need notes and plays them by feeling and I find that she plays them as they were or better than they were intended to be played.
Having the notes is fine but putting the emphasis on them is the instrument's player's duty and I think she does it best.
Now, if you know the Mondscheinsonate, which I'm confident almost everyone of you recognised the first motion of once you clicked that video above, you also likely hear where it goes into the second motion. Very obvious. But the third motion is where shit starts to get real! The above was a wonderfully depressing, timeless piece going into a happy and marry piece. A lot of feeling in both of them but more so in the first motion.
The third motion is pure passion and my absolute favourite.
The talent is just outstanding. It's no big deal to play it but I've yet to hear it anyone play better. She knows when to play hard and when to play delicate. It just sounds like that's how it's supposed to be played and everything else is just a cheap knock off. Truly great!
The sense of urgency, of held back emotion, the escalation. It's perfect.

You guys need to watch some Princess Tutu.
