Watched Batman: Assault on Arkham recently.
I dunno if DC realise this (probably not) but Harley Quinn being on the Suicide Squad goes against the entire point of the Suicide Squad. I mean, fuck me, why not just have The Joker on the fucker as well?

I think either the obese waifu running the Squad figured they'd have to blow him up around 5 minutes after mission start because he's kinda batshit*, or DC fears fans will cry character assassination if Joker is put in a situation where he has to actually behave.

Harley Quinn is only on the Suicide Squad because she's considered attractive to turbonerds. That's also why they dressed her the way they did in the movie and also why they had the gratuitous shot of her bending at the waist to pick up some shoes in the previews.
