Damon Lindelof, AKA one of the disciples of Abrams' Bad Robot court. He's notorious for ruining the final acts of certain films (Prometheus, Tomorrowland, Star Trek Into Darkness, World War Z, The Hunt). He also wrote nu-Watchmen.

Lindelof did the rewrites (and made it complete shit) but he didn't write the first drafts. I think that was Jon Spaihts.

In any case, Ridley Scott doesn't write the films, he's not a writer.

Just be wary of the newer stuff (which thankfully has a glacial release schedule). The stuff from the second-to-last writing team is a bit shite, and the stuff from the current team is a bit left-leaning (with stronk independent womyn that are oddly insufferable for a comic series that has handled this way better decades earlier).

Carl Barks and Don Rosa are the only decent content producers ever attached to Disney. Fite me IRL if you disagree.
