Well there aren’t one but two black VAs in Digimon reboot, Matt/Yamato needed a black man too.
In related news Zeno the Magic Negro is talking shit about DEIdetected.

Still trying to appease his marxist cohorts, as usual.
What Zeno Anthony Robinson doesn't know is that the game still flopped hard, only peaking at 287 users on Steam.

This hue guy is grifting too hard. Just curate the list, and say nothing about it. Let the usual suspects cope and seethe and dilate about it, but you don't need to give them even an inch. Once you start blabbering about "culture war" stuff, you're one slip-up away from getting yourself in trouble with the companies which you depend on to pass your message.

Good, hopefully they can’t milk Dragon Ball much longer. I know they’ve still got Super to finish and that movie, but once those are done they’re hopefully sunk.CuckTurdginson wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 4:25 amWell, yeah - the cuntimation old guard are mostly unemployed now.

I think they're not even dubbing One Piece anymore - there's no announcements on resuming their dubbing. And Funi's dead - so I wouldn't be shocked if Crunchyroll wants to go in a different direction.Old Black Man wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 7:34 amGood, hopefully they can’t milk Dragon Ball much longer. Would love a reset that 86's all the filler - even if your archnemesis would probably be in it.
I could see them dubbing Daima - I think Toriyama completed it. But they can't last that much longer without ANY input from Toriyama. I think even GT he outlined an arc or two and did a little artwork.

The hip new thing is getting those episodes out as close to the Japanese release as possible, and that's just way easier with subs.CuckTurdginson wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2024 6:13 pmI think they're not even dubbing One Piece anymore - there's no announcements on resuming their dubbing. An what even is the current licensing state, anyways? New OP episodes are on both Crunchyroll and Netflix.

So Sabat's lost his only other decent gig - and his time as Vegeta is waning.
I am probably describing the Netflix series when talking about the hard reset - aren't I? I just want animation - I think animation is a marvelous art form and when you take that away from an anime series - I won't like said series as much.
It's been said - the only perk of Toriyama's death is the Funicunts are probably toast now. I miss him - and even creatively, the new movie made it seem like he wanted to move in a direction where DB was going to improve on GT's flaws (I like GT - but in a guilty pleasure way - I wouldn't say its objectively good) - and I wanted to see that, that's out the window tho.
