Thereabouts. They greenlit an additional 70 episodes, each season is about ten episodes so that's like seven seasons which would bring the total to about ten seasons. They had like one season's worth of material. At best.

In what way has it worked out? The show is shit (at least Simpsons took ten years to turn shit), the show's creators can't stand each other. They're on the hook for 65 episodes and I would be amazed if they made that many.

I gave this turd premiere a chance and lo and behold nazis! Basically Rick keeps resurrecting in different dimensions where each version of himself is a fascist, and the show ends with them saying they’ll go back to fun old adventures and mix it in with social commentary/polidicks. They’re pretty much acknowledging the fans who called out season 3 for its bullshit, which shows criticism got to them.

TL;DR Fuck this show, I’m gonna watch me some Kamen Rider Amazons.
