A lot less work went into that allegedly. A theoretical Lucas cut would probably require some spending.

Apparently the Snyder cut is costing WB a cool $30 million to polish up, including getting the actors to record new dialogue.

Jar Jar Binks is still a better character than anyone in the Sequel films.
