Once Star Wars goes, Marvel Studios will be next on the chopping block at some point in time. Then, Disney will either downsize them, shut them down but milk the IPs under other subsidiaries, or sell them off after they're done raping them into the ground. Then, they'll purchase new studios and IPs to fuck over under their wing like the malignancy they are, and the cycle will repeat itself.
They're literally the Electronic Arts of the movie industry, and speaking of which...

Why wouldn't Disney "be fine" with what EA is doing? Disney is doing far worse on the film side of things.

Disney never sell anything. If they sold Lucasfilm, someone less incompetent would almost definitely be able to spin money out of it and that would hurt Disney's profits
