Dead Horse Interchange

It's the best Trek series.

Kinda missing the Trek though. That's what's kept me from checking it out, I feel like I'd miss the exploration aspect.

There are some weak/annoying characters in DS9, but it's Shakespeare compared to the Star Drek that's being put out today.

There's a scene where Russel Crowe explains all if the guys in the bar figure they dont have a chance with trying for the hottest girl. So they all go for a secondary, lesser choice behind her so that they at least go home with somebody.

Yeah but Russell Crowe also thought Paul Bettany and Ed Harris were real so that kind of hurts his theory

The dude also chugged dong IRL so his outlook on beautiful women is questionable at best.

It was decent comfort food Star Trek. Robert Picardo was excellent on it, and Jeri Ryan does know how to act if you can look past her boobs.

There are episodes where weird shit comes to them through the wormwhole, which might count. But still, any exploration aspect you might be missing will be more than made up for by the cast.

Robert Picardo's presence makes me hate the show even more, because although he made the show a lot more watchable, his talent was also seriously wasted. He deserved better.
