If they do it they'll call it Episode X. No way do we get Episode IX parts 1 & 2.
Hard to imagine why they'd need to do it though. It's not JJ is known for his epic stories.

But I can definitely see why they need more screentime to finish this travesty of a trilogy: Episode IX sucked so much ass that they literally have to make an entire Episode to fix dat shit.

Now that I think about it though, Disney has been talking about ending the trilogy thing and even dropping the numbers (something that was rumored before TFA came out). Maybe they've finally realized their genius SJW writers simply can't handle complex stories.

Twenty bucks says they're trying to draw it out because Daisy Ridley and Co. don't want to come back for another trilogy. That asshole that plays Finn maybe, but Ridley's been bitching about SW since TFA and Oscar Isaac definitely has better things to do than play a closeted gay pilot in a movie for adult children.
