Capitalism is being shut down and people are going umemployed. There's far less carbon emissions, but it's still hot outside, and you can't go out to grow or buy organic junk that will spoil in a few days. More efficient city planning/housing just makes the virus spread faster. Suddenly Nebraska is looking much better than NYC.
