What is it about TLJ defenders desperately trying to find "philosophy" in this abortion of a movie?

He talks about that in the video too.Rapeculture wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 6:01 pmYeah, The Last Jedi was great! My favorite part was when Holdo put Poe Dameron in his place when he tried to question her plans. Take THAT patriarchy!
My main issue is that the scene in question is cringey as fuck and Holdo is a smug bitch, intentionally written that way.Rushy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 6:02 pmHe talks about that in the video too.Rapeculture wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 6:01 pmYeah, The Last Jedi was great! To sum it up, no military figure would be compelled to explain themselves to a recently demoted loose cannon, particularly when they didn't know who provided the First Order with info to track them(this was before they knew about the tracker device).

Ah yes, now there we concur. Smugness towards the audience seems to permeate modern film and television. That's why I largely prefer the 60s-80s when it comes to choosing what to watch. The only real improvement is the increased use of serialisation and consistency.Rapeculture wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 6:32 pmMy main issue is that the scene in question is cringey as fuck and Holdo is a smug bitch, intentionally written that way.Rushy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 6:02 pmHe talks about that in the video too.Rapeculture wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 6:01 pmYeah, The Last Jedi was great! Dorks need to spin deeper where there isn't any to defend their taste in objectively trash media. Like the Bible.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 5:47 pmWhat is it about TLJ defenders desperately trying to find "philosophy" in this abortion of a movie?
