Is that really that surprising? The previous movies killed off every other human form the old trilogy. Even the ones that didn't die had their actor die IRL.
I just hope the Falcon does a FTL kamikaze attack and destroys the entire Death Star Destroyer fleet in one shot.

One thing you can be sure of is that the Falcon isnt going anywhere. It might not be the original--they might start making them in a space factory now. Or maybe Luke had a bunch stored in hangars because he misses his ol' buddy Han.
