Certified Fresh on RT.
Fuck the internet. It's scary how right the Unabomber was about a lot of things.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Kaczy ... Its_Future
A very insightful summary.
... the task of those who oppose industrial society is to promote "social stress and instability," and to propagate "an ideology that opposes technology," one that offers the "counter-ideal" of nature "in order to gain enthusiastic support." Thus, when industrial society is sufficiently unstable, "a revolution against technology may be possible."[79]
So Muslims, basically.
He also criticizes conservatives, describing them as "fools" who "whine about the decay of traditional values, yet they enthusiastically support technological progress and economic growth. Apparently it never occurs to them that you can't make rapid, drastic changes in the technology and the economy of a society without causing rapid changes in all other aspects of the society as well, and that such rapid changes inevitably break down traditional values."[80]
A point that has been often raised on DHI by Poonoo, and one which is very true.

Marx had many accurate criticisms of capitalism. But, of course, his proposed solutions were retarded and didn't work. And never will. I see the Unabomber the same way. This retard thought forcing a manifesto to be printed under threat of bombing would stop the march of technology? Lel. What an idiot.

Imagine the kind of force (because force is required for change) necessary to completely turn around our current economic, social and technological systems. To undo everything and revert people to "wild nature" or whatever he thought he'd be getting. Kek. Inevitable doesn't even begin to describe the march of technology.

Just checked RT again. It is indeed, once again, another Fembusters scenario.

As of now, STD's audience score has been adjusted to 64%.

Maybe. It died when I was very young.

Reminds me of People's rave review of How To Get Away With Murder. Basically: Terrible shit show, but the cast is SO DIVERSE that you just have to watch it!

Did they even try with that poster/image ?
Nearly half of the thing is blank, some ant-sized unrecognisable silhouette in the back and a giant disembodied head from the side that just asks for a obvious offensive edit. At least they found a way to include the logo.
I guess there won't be any misconceptions on what this series will be about.

The Orville poster is much better. Not only do you see the entire crew, but also the bloody ship. The STD one looks more like it's for a Whitney Houston biopic or something.

Nope. Can't recall that ever being the case.

To be fair, Rotten Tomatoes only judges the reviews of the first episode of a season. It shouldn't include TV shows.
