He didn't fuck up that case. He and Ty accomplished their goal of grifting hundreds of thousands of dollars from idiots.

Well, they did grift two hundred thousando dollars out of gullible stream watchers, but I feel like they squandered the true potential for gains with Ty Beard's incompetence. Remember, he tried to sell "crowdfunding lawsuits to own the libs" as the future in Trigger the Libs, Own the Libs technology, in a time when the Anti-SJW crowd was still fairly optimistic that they still had the momentum from 2016. Cue Ty Beard fucking up the case completely, never taking Marzgunt and the PULL crowd into the ringer (which, I suppose, was part of the appeal for people to donate, to see Trucker Girl being slapped with lawsuits she couldn't possible defend herself against), and completely killing any chance that they could enact the same grift again (at least, to a 6 figures extent) ever.

Then Nick Rekieta cemented his credentials as one of the worst shysters in the business by weighting in DSP's bankruptcy hearings and being wrong on basically eveything. But surely there was the potential for grifting even more money, had they succeeded (or at least not failed completely) the first time.

Yeah, if Ty had won Vic's case then he could have milked the autists out of a lot more money. Shame the judge wasn't in on the scam with them. Since Nick wasn't technically the lawyer for Vic's case, he managed to weasel his way out of the blame (even though he was at fault for hyping up Vic's case as a done deal and promising the world to everyone, thus creating a false view of the case in the first place and raising expectations.) Since he didn't have his name down as Vic's lawyer, he was able to slide away and live to scam another day. Sort of like how that shitty gamergate movie was promoted by a lot of different gamergate scammers, but only Aurini and Davis ultimately took the fall. Well that’s disappointing. I do wonder if the judge was just an asshole or if Ty really was that incompetent. That’s the problem with a kind like that, the judge could just be having a bad day and decide to hit the eject button. Maybe he found Beard’s dumbass streaming with Nick and got a bad impression, that wouldn’t surprise me. I’ll just assume it was a believe wahmen thing.
