All you really need is the hardware. Then you can mod Führer-chan into it.

It has begun.

Rayark, a developer of popular mobile rhythm games (and no, I haven't tried them out myself because they're not Project Diva) is getting flak for using AI-generated art in its newest game.
According to social media sources I can't verify with news articles, they've also fired their entire art department in the process

Mobileshit is a trendsetter in the industry. Just look at AAA titles going for mobile-style monetization.

For rank garbage only. That's some cryptobro kind of >muh web 3.0 take.
You're comparing gambling with games.

Say that to EA's lootboxes.

I mentioned rank garbage, didn't I?
Explain what the intrusive gambling has to do with game mechanics.

You think they don't tinker with the gameplay to "encourage" making use of the gambling part?

No, I don't. But the equalised game mechanics remain the same. The means of acquisition of, say, players on the field of FIFA, don't impact the game mechanics.
Your Ronaldo won't be better than mine, no matter how many packs either of us had to open.

But my points are that market saturation has been reached. Games won't become even more like mobileshit. If you make them more like those, you equal them. You already have them as players of actual mobileshit, which is as accessible as anything will ever be.

The other is that you won't convert anyone you haven't already.
Mobileshit isn't weed, it's alcohol. You have the percentage of the population willing to consume your product. For weed, some potential is left, if you legalised it. But you wouldn't get all of the remaining population that doesn't currently smoke weed. Just the few that are afraid of getting caught.

In other words: AI generated garbage will only get the people that already don't care and are just looking for a fix of gambling. You're tapping into a fixed potential. But you won't get anyone beyond that.
And even that potential isn't as high as they tell their investors. Much of mobileshit lives from choice design of waifus.
