Soyboys only like nu-Persona music because it is English-sounding enough.

Kept you waiting, huh? :3

Work got more demanding, also I took a long vacation, but now I've returned.

Panel de Pon / Tetris Attack

Meet the tranquil sound creation of Masaya Kuzume, former Nintendo/Intelligent Systems, later founding his own studio in 2003 (which seems no longer active - at least my research only gave me dead links) - most notable works include the OG NES Fire Emblem 3+4 - additionally to composing he also sank his teeth into being scenario writer + planner for the PSX hidden gem RPG Bealphareth.

This games soundtrack is out of this fucking world, man. For the most parts its so relaxing I'd rather have it in a JRPG as a graveyard/chruch theme. Also Nintendo execs were out of their fucking minds when they ported it for Westerners: What do you mean, those baka gaijin don't like cute girls with their puzzle games? Well, do the Wario's Woods stunt, this time with Yossi, also call it Tetris Something, even though it has nothing to do with Tetris, that'll make them eat it up. And so they did, and so we did.

This song is just so endlessly playable. For an old piece of music, it has incredible depth and length. It's written like a classical music piece. This is a guitar cover, but there are also full orchestra covers.

It reminds me a little of this Bach piece:

Oh and btw:

FIST is the greatest 3D fighting game of the sixth generation. It may be the greatest fighting game of all time. The graphics are great, and the Saturn version in particular shows off what a 3D powerhouse the Saturn truly was. In comparison to those achievements the merits of the soundtrack are meagre, but I still think it's well worth a listen.
