Who knows. The most disturbing thing about SocJus shit for me is that it has been getting really hard for me to tell when something is legit or a parody.Lindsay's Liver wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 4:43 amThe NEW New Warriors thing is SO parodically over-the-top that I'm still not convinced that it isn't a complete troll and that there really is no comic.
It’s a Sacha Baron Cohen movie, I’m calling it now.Lindsay's Liver wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 4:43 amThe NEW New Warriors thing is SO parodically over-the-top that I'm still not convinced that it isn't a complete troll and that there really is no comic.
ALL of the response seems to be coming from Comicsgate. I'm not seeing one peep from anti-Comicsgate about how this all looks awesome.
And if it is a troll, all it did was give Ethan 'n' Zack 'n' co. more material.
File Under: The left can't meme.
I haven't seen mah boi Zack's video on full yet, so it may have already been brought up, but Daniel Kibblesmith (soy oozes from every pore of his anorexic body) was a former staff writer for the odious Stephen Colbert, so the Pedowood/Modern comics incest is through and through. Daniel is also is the same social engineer who wrote a children’s book about Santa Claus’s homosexual “husband” of politically preferred pigmentation. Yes, really.Liar Revealed wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 7:49 pmThis is just so ridiculous, with characters named Safespace and Snowflake. It seems like a parody of modern comics. Do you think this was done tongue-in-cheek? (I hate that phrase, but can't think of a synonym .)
Or is this just "how do you do, fellow kids?"
I remember when some comics blatantly pandered to teens when I was young, like their "Generation X" title. I always saw through it and I don't think I was alone.
Timely done by them, since internet clicks will be worth so much money now that capitalism is being destroyed by their comrades' fearmongering.Cuckara wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 5:23 pmIt's all a plot to manufacture clickbait. Step 1. Make the stupidest characters in the history of comic books. Step 2. Wait for the MundaneMatts of the world to make dozens of videos whining about these stupid characters. Step 3. Write one clickbait article about these MundaneMatts and send it to all of your "journalist" friends so that they can repost it on their websites. Step 4. Rake in those clicks.
