Seems like Diamond, pretty much the only distributor of US comics, decided to put a hold on shipping new comics indefinitely. Another mail in the coffin for the comic industry.
And now we have the official reason Gail Simone and all the others starting kissing Comicsgate's ass all of a sudden. They knew this was happening, they literally can't sell anything (not even home delivery from comic shops) and the only way to make money is to sell direct to the customer via youtube. They can't rely on being bailed out by bigger companies and overshipping to inflate their numbers anymore, they know how little people give a shit about them and they know the only way to have power in comics is to infiltrate Comicsgate. But that shit ain't happening.
Muh digital won't save them, that's only 10% of the industry. That may rise but old fucks like Ethan and Zack(who is most of their audience) only buy physical.
Good. I hope the industry dies. It hasn't been good in years.
Right? I don’t know how people can mindlessly
follow millions of issues of the same bullshit for decades. I read some comics and graphic novels, but I prefer collections of a story or something that has a beginning, middle, and end.
I know it’s corny but got I miss shit like Spawn, Witch Blade, and The Darkness. Again, corny as fuck, but still better than the usual shit.

It's basically soap opera, made by people with the same storytelling skills as a webcomic author (aka it's shite, goes nowhere, and the writer wouldn't be able to keep his self-inserts and twisted polidicks out of it even if his life depended on it).
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Yeah, call me a weeb but I’ll stick to the seinen manga that are like 6-20 issues max. I don’t need an endless saga of soap opera bullshit as you so rightfully put it.
Actually no Disney doesn't technically. My understanding is that while they have 9 billion bucks in reserves, they are actually at least $40 billion in debt due to all the purchases they have done recently that they have trying to get loans out during this time with the virus.
