The original managed to at least be somewhat subtle, confirming that bigoted honkeys did originally kill Candyman for getting some of that sweet fat white girl ass as it’s encoded in his DNA, but also showed black on black/gang violence and gangs using fear to control and intimidate an entire community, which like said earlier regarding The First Purge, is purely myth now to writers because any sorrow of the black community is caused when huwites show up.

Even worse is that Hack Fraud Peele’s nigress understudy is changing the story up it seems to push muh Chauvin narrative. This is supposed to be a direct sequel to the original, but from what I’m gathering the “message” is that any black man who is wrongfully killed can be the Candyman or some shit. Cut to the ending where upstanding black lead is killed by a group of cops while one holds him in place by kneeling on his neck all after we learned he made some great sacrifice to save everyone.

Specifically it's actually a homeless dude who got traumatized by Candyman doing all the killing. At the end he kidnaps the main nigga, cuts off his arm, dresses him up like Candyman then sends him out to get gunned down by da ebil white cops, and it's heavily implied that the Tony Todd Candyman is masterminding the whole thing.

You'd almost think there's an allegory for black on black crime in there but lmao, this is Hollywood so nah its all wypepo's fault.
