So Kraven the Hunter is bombing, losing to Sonic 3.

When are these shitheads going to realize that these minor characters cannot sustain a movie?
Especially using a villain. You can only do that with a AAA villain like Joker and Venom.

A Doc Ock movie might do a trick, but he already had a live-action appearance 20 years ago so we can't have that.

Thought it was some Steven Segal tier garbage for the first few seconds, figured out it was Z-tier capeshit garbage, said "Was ist das denn für eine Scheiße?", turned that shit off, forgot about it.

It's a bit like WB's strange obsession with making DC TV series that are Batman-adjacent, but go out of their way to write Batman out of the plot.
And usually do some lame shit with his rogues gallery, like making it a prequel where everyone's just a (mostly) normal criminal, or a sequel where we have lame successor villains (there's like an episode of Batwoman where some dude finds Joker's joy buzzer and tries to become the next Clown Prince of Crime. That show was really obsessed with people appropriating costumes or gadgets from greater heroes/villains as if they were mythical artifacts or some shit).

Speaking of 06, apparently Iblis is in the Knuckles miniseries. Which…I guess I follow the logic. Eggmans the villain in 90 percent of the games so you have to build up the rogues gallery somehow, since eventually, despite the desperation of the movies writers, you will run out of shit to use from the Genesis and Dreamcast games + Generations and CD. I wouldn’t be shocked if Silver and Mephiles show up, however if I were working on some of these movies, they would both get rewritten substantially lol.

You wonder about Carrey, but the man’s enough of a narcissist to do 2, 3 more of these movies.
