To be completely fair, she was one of the stronger writers on the show. But yes.Liar Revealed wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 11:25 pmIs that why she went from his secretary to writing and story editing for the show?

Re: Star Dreck
There were a number of women writers on the show (did they all fuck Gene?) and it's funny because very often there would be an obvious insert... sometimes to a Mary Sue degree. Like when you see an episode with a powerful woman that manages to seduce Spock or Kirk, you're always going to find a female writer.BenComicGraphics wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 12:07 amTo be completely fair, she was one of the stronger writers on the show. Men would tend to write stuff like Space Seed where a male character dominates women.

It seems Star Trek was always destined to create Mary Sue.Liar Revealed wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 12:18 amThere were a number of women writers on the show (did they all fuck Gene?) and it's funny because very often there would be an obvious insert... sometimes to a Mary Sue degree. Women writers love using magic as a plot convenience.
Why? It's a vague, undefined force that you can do anything with, that only follows rules you make up.

...and still: Spoony did nothing.

So STP killed off Hugh, the former Borg who gained individuality in TNG. Number of viewers is rapidly declining.
