The Mandalorian looks like ass. I don't mind the concept, but Star Wars was a modern version of old cheesy adventure movies with clear heroes and villains. Disney Wars is all dark, super-serious shit that makes everyone gray. Forget all the soy fags they have writing this shit (during the last 15 minutes of their lunch breaks, apparently), they're completely failing from the start because they've forgotten what SW is supposed to be.

The Marvel films at least respects their characters for the most part. Last Jedi just completely shit all over Luke Skywalker, so much so that even Mark Hamill talked about how much he hated it.

Even if you think so, Last Jedi is only one film. And with Rise Of Skywalker ending this trilogy, the rest of the Disney films are unlikely to have any ties with the sequels given their lack of universal popularity.

Rise of Skywalker is likely to blow, but it's hard for me to imagine it being any worse than Last Jedi, I'll give you that. As for any subsequent Star Wars movies, I have no interest. George Lucas poisoned the well with the prequel trilogy, and Kathleen Kennedy filled these new sequels with a strong mix of feminisim, soy and AIDS, furthering the damage to the brand. I can't take anymore, I'm done.

I can respect that - I've felt this way about other franchises. But personally, I've still got the enthusiasm for new Star Wars flicks.
Until I see them fuck up Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan film, that is.
