Disney acquired Fox, so Marvel can use the X-Men now. There are a couple Fox (gay rapist Bryan Singer universe) X-Men movies left over from before the buyout that they have to figure out what to do with.

According to the Russos the character is going to be revealed in an upcoming movie with that fag who runs Marvel's movie division making an announcement beforehand. That can only be Spider-Man unless "very soon" means five years to them.

How much you wanna bet this will be an instance similar to "OMG first lesbian Power Ranger" or "OMG Lando's pansexual", where the marketing will hype the shit out of "OMG first gay superhero", only for that to be merely hinted at by him, I dunno, holding hands with another guy for a moment.
