Disney is starting their own streaming service and doesn't want the Netflix Marvel shows competing.
Netflix has some ownership of their Marvel shows so Disney can't just take the existing episodes for their own service. Even if that wasn't the case, Disney won't allow R rated material on their service, anyway.
The Netflix shows are made by Marvel's TV division. The planned shows for the Disney streaming service are by the Marvel Movie division. The movie guys hate the TV guys. That's why Agents of SHIELD acknowledges the events of the movies but not vice-versa. (The Netflix shows are all set sometime after the first Avengers movie but before 2016.)

I mean I enjoyed it. Frank Castle is a difficult character to make compelling but they did a fine job. It had something of a tactical Tom Clancy espionage feel, but from the gritty street vigilante POV.

Brie Larson has all the charisma of a hagfish. Gal Gadot can't act but at least she seems to be able to replicate human emotion well enough to inspire positive feelings in an audience. I liked Diana in Wonder Woman, she made an otherwise paint by numbers capeshit slog somewhat bearable.

Btw new Captain Marvel trailer is out and it sucks.
